About the Show

Set in contemporary Sri Lanka, where homosexuality remains criminalized and the scars of civil war continue to shape everyday life, PIG follows Sudhu and Mythri, two childhood friends who reunite at an underground orgy in a rundown Colombo hotel years after a traumatic separation.

For the privileged Sudhu, the encounter is transactional. For the working-class Mythri, it represents the possibility of an entirely new life. As the two navigate their complicated shared history among a group of men seeking intimacy in secrecy, the arrival of an unexpected visitor threatens to unravel their fragile sanctuary.

An unflinching exploration of queer desire, class, and the enduring consequences of ethnic conflict, PIG examines the possibility of intimacy in a society fractured by violence, inequality, and historical trauma.
